2. Acceptance of These Terms

By making a donation to Miss Trans Global Organisation CIC, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

3. Purpose of Donations

All donations received by Miss Trans Global Organisation CIC will be applied solely to furthering our community interest objectives, including but not limited to:

  • Organising and delivering Miss Trans Global and related community-led events
  • Providing accommodation, travel, and subsistence support for:
    • Participants from the Global South
    • Asylum seekers and refugees
    • Trans and non-binary individuals facing financial hardship
  • Creating, maintaining, and expanding platforms and opportunities for under-privileged trans and non-binary people in the UK and internationally
  • Administrative and operational costs necessary to deliver the above activities in compliance with UK law

All funds are managed in accordance with the CIC asset lock, meaning they cannot be distributed for private profit.

4. Use and Allocation of Funds

4.1 Donations will be used at the discretion of the Directors to best support the organisation’s stated purposes.
4.2 While we aim to respect donor preferences, restricted donations may be reallocated if the original purpose becomes impractical or no longer aligns with our community interest objectives.
4.3 Donations do not create any contractual right for the donor to influence organisational decisions, governance, or event participation.

5. Non-Refundable Donations

5.1 All donations are voluntary and non-refundable, except where required by UK law.
5.2 Donations are not payments for goods, services, tickets, or guaranteed participation in events.
5.3 Miss Trans Global Organisation CIC does not provide refunds for change of mind, event changes, or cancellation, unless legally obliged.

6. Tax and Gift Aid

6.1 Miss Trans Global Organisation CIC is a Community Interest Company, not a registered charity.
6.2 Donations are not eligible for Gift Aid unless explicitly stated otherwise.
6.3 Donors are responsible for seeking independent tax advice regarding any potential tax implications.

7. Transparency and Reporting

7.1 We are committed to transparency and accountability.
7.2 Annual accounts and the CIC Community Interest Report are prepared and filed in accordance with Companies House and CIC Regulator requirements.
7.3 Financial information may be shared publicly to demonstrate impact and responsible use of funds.

8. No Financial Return

Donations do not:

  • Confer ownership, shares, or voting rights
  • Provide entitlement to dividends, profits, or financial returns
  • Create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship

9. Anti-Fraud and Compliance

9.1 We reserve the right to refuse or return donations if we reasonably believe they:

  • Originate from unlawful activity
  • Breach UK anti-money laundering or counter-terrorism regulations
  • 9.2 Donors confirm that funds donated are their own and derived from lawful sources.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

10.1 Personal data provided in connection with donations will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
