LONDON, UK — On September 6, 2024 – Kevhoney Scarlett has made history as the first Afro European and transgender woman from France to win an international pageant. She was crowned Miss Trans Global 2024 in London, United Kingdom at Rhoda, The New Victoria Theatre in Woking.
Born in Paris to a multi-mixed heritage, Scarlett spent her early years in Guadeloupe and France. She holds three degrees in Art and Dance, Law, and Marketing, she is currently working as a Marketing Consultant, Content Creator, Host, and Performer.
Advocacy is the integral part of Scarlett's life. She visits public institutions to educate people about the plights of transgender people, she uses various social media platforms to raise awareness, and actively participates in protests and marches fighting for human dignity and equal rights for transgender people. Earlier this year, she was honoured to deliver the keynote opening speech at Paris Pride.
Scarlett is a regular at fashion and high-society events, where she uses her appearances in all these events as a vehicle to promote inclusion and diversity for the transgender community in France. As Miss Trans Global 2024, she plans to continue and expand the advocacy work she is already doing globally, by educating others, speaking for the voiceless, and fighting for the inclusion and visibility of transgender women in spaces where they are often excluded.
