LONDON, UK — On 31 March 2025, Laura Pereira, representing Italy, was named Miss Trans Global 2025. Announced on Trans Day of Visibility, her win highlights the importance of advocacy during a time of increasing hostility towards LGBTQ+ communities worldwide.
The Miss Trans Global final which took place in Woking, London United Kingdom, featured contestants from countries including England, the Philippines, the USA, Malaysia, Brazil and France. Pereira used the platform to speak openly about her experiences and the need for international solidarity in the face of growing legislative and societal attacks on LGBTQ+ rights.
She was announced in the grand final ceremony which was broadcasted on various Facebook and YouTube Channels.
