MISS TRANS GLOBAL 2021 APPLICATION

Joining the most prestigious digital pageant in the world can be both a fun and rewarding experience. The Miss Trans Global Organisation prides itself on being the future of trans pageantry where ANYONE with intelligence and creativity can win title(s).

We are changing the patriarchal narrative of what beauty pageants are to a modern construct where there is a limitless space for beauty to be diverse and inclusive of all trans feminine individuals.

Miss Trans Global Organisation has some designated national directors in countries that have franchises. Please click the logo of your country of origin or residence from the list below to be redirected to their specific websites or social networking pages to apply.

WE WILL NOT PROCESS YOUR APPLICATION IF YOUR COUNTRY IS LISTED BELOW!

If your country is not listed above, you can apply on this page.

If there are more than 2 qualified candidates from your country of residence or citizenship, you will compete with them in a national competition which MTG Organisation will set up for your country on our social media pages. The winner of the national competition will win your country’s national title to represent your country at Miss Trans Global 2021.
If you are selected to represent your country, you must pay a $150 USD application fee to solidify your place in Miss Trans Global 2021.
If you are a qualified potential candidate who cannot afford the application fee, you can apply through our scholarship scheme which will cover your application fee for Miss Trans Global 2021.
*PLEASE NOTE: The scholarship scheme will not guarantee your entry into the competition, all scholarship applicant will go through careful selection process before they are awarded.

What we are looking for in a Queen

You must be intelligent, eloquent and creative in your production.
You must identify as trans feminine.
You must be ready to advocate for transgender rights and equality.
You must be ready to inspire and empower transgender people.
You must be of sound mind during the national and international competition.
You must have an English language translator for all your video and sound productions if you are not fluent in English language.
You must be a citizen or resident in the country you want to represent.
You must be dedicated to the 2 months period of the international competition and 1 month period for the national competition if there are more than one applicant from your country.
You must be above 18 years of age
You must be willing to dedicate 1 year to trans advocacy if you win one of the titles.
All body sizes, races and backgrounds are welcome to join MTG!

The application process will take place in 2 stages.

THE FIRST STAGE
PRE SELECTION APPLICATION: You will fill the form below this page, telling us a little bit about yourself, if you can afford our application fee or not and why.

POST A 45 SECONDS HORIZONTAL ELEVATOR PITCH VIDEO OF YOURSELF TELLING US WHY YOU WANT TO JOIN THE CAST OF MTG 2021 ON YOUR YOUTUBE PAGE IN THE ‘UNLISTED’ SECTION (The video must be horizontal, no music, no filters, no name or title tags, no intro, no flags) Then put the Unlisted YouTube video website link in your application form. IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD THE APPLICATION FEE, YOU MUST EXPLAIN WHY IN THE APPLICATION FORM BELOW.

THE SECOND STAGE
MTG 2021 APPLICATION: You will get an email, which contains the MTG 2021 official application form with the instructions required for your application to be successful.

IT WILL REQUIRE YOU TO SUBMIT A MORE DETAILED APPLICATION FORM, IMAGES, VIDEOS, AND PAYMENT.

What will happen after we receive your second application form?

Your application and payment would be reviewed by MTG organisation after the application process closes in February.

you will be notified privately if you have made it to the next round or not.
If they’re more than one candidate from your country, we would advice you on the challenges and tasks you will be required to complete for the judges to decide if you should represent your country or not.

FAQ

When is the application open?

It is open from January the 05th 2021.

When will the application close?

It will close on February the 28th 2021.

Would the names I was assigned at birth be used?

No, because we consider deadnames as insult, unless you instruct us otherwise. But your legal names would be needed on our contract when you win the competition for statutory purposes only. The contract is private, it will never be made public, unless there is a litigation brought against the MTG Organisation.

Would I be the only contestant from my country?

Yes, if you win the national competition, even if your country doesn't have a national director. If your country have more than one applicant, you will have to compete with them to represent your country.

When will the national title winners be announced?

They will be announced after their national directors announces them or by MTG Organisation if the country doesnt have national director.

When will the international and national competition start?

The dates will be in your private brochure which will be given to you when you are selected as your country's representative. We would go public with all contestants at the end of July-August and the grand finale will take place in September. The national competition will start in March - May. You will be notified when your country's competition will take place

How will the national winners be selected?

For countries without national directors, there would be 2 panel of judges and the public as the third judge. Countries with national directors have their own rules and selection process. Please contact your country's national director through your country's MTG website and social media pages.
